Pilsen 2018

A problem with my car forced me to stay overnight in Pilsen. It wasn't that bad, Pilsen was on my list anyway. I found a room in the centrally located Hotel Rous. The hotel is absolutely recommended! The rooms are beautifully furnished and in summer you can have breakfast on the terrace on the city wall and enjoy the view of the city park. The old town of Pilsen, surrounded by a green strip, is manageable, but very beautiful. There is also a statue of Spejbel and Hurvinek, the heroes of my childhood. In the former mill district there is a small pond on the banks of which you can relax. Everywhere you can find small coffees and good beer. In the Pilsener Hofbräuhaus I had a good goulash and Pilsen beer. Interesting are the duplicate house numbers in the Czech Republic. The upper number on the red sign is the postal address, the lower number on the white sign is the property number of the land registry office.
