Trial am Gardasee
I hadn't moved my Montesa so much this year, so the invitation of a buddy came just in time. At Lake Garda there should be beautiful
trial areas. The journey over the Umbrailpass and the Lake Idro was nice, but it also took some time. In Bogliaco I found a good hotel. The room was cosy, the view of the lake breathtaking and a
pool was also available. The hotel owner, a quirky old man, could give us good tips and tour suggestions for the trial hike. The gravel roads were right behind the hotel. Every day we did a
different tour. Most exciting was the climb to Monte Pizzocolo with 800 meters of altitude. Ok, we parked our motorcycles 50m below the summit and walked the rest, but until then it was
exhausting enough. The view made up for everything. After the tours we relaxed at the pool with a good Forst beer. Also for the physical well-being was provided, in Bogliaco one finds many good
restaurants. Conclusion: the area around Lake Garda is perfect for trail hiking.
Meine Montesa hatte ich in diesem Jahr noch nicht so viel bewegt, da kam die Einladung eines Kumpels gerade recht. Am Gardasee sollte
es schöne Trialgelände geben. Die Anfahrt über den Umbrailpass und den Idrosee war schön, zog sich aber auch in die Länge. In Bogliaco fand ich ein gutes Hotel. Das Zimmer war gemütlich, die
Aussicht auf den See atemberaubend und ein Pool war auch vorhanden. Der Hotellier, ein schrulliger alter Herr, konnte uns gute Tipps und Tourenvorschläge für die Trialwanderung geben. Die
Schotterwege befanden sich gleich hinter dem Hotel. Jeden Tag machten wir eine andere Tour. Am aufregendsten war die Erklimmung des Monte Pizzocolo mit 800 Höhenmetern. Ok, wir parkten unsere
Motorräder 50m unterhalb des Gipfels und liefen den Rest, aberauch bis dahin war es schon anstrengend genug. Die Aussicht entschädigte dann für alles. Nach den Touren entspannten wir uns am Pool
bei einem guten Forst-Bier. Auch für das leibliche Wohl war gesorgt, in Bogliaco findet man viele gute Restaurants. Fazit: die Gegend um den Gardasee eignet sich vorzüglich zum
Trialwandern.
