Cordoba and Nerja

Again a few days in Spain. The first night we spent in a riad in Malaga. The room was nice, but unfortunately it had no double bed, but two single beds made of concrete. This was very annoying, but it was only for one night. The next day we went to Cordoba. Here we booked a room via Air BnB. Our host, Jesús, has furnished two rooms for guests in his apartment. Cordoba has a beautiful historic city, which is famous for the view of the old stone bridge and the mosque. The mosque is used by Christians and Muslims. Cordoba is worth a visit, but just for a day trip. From Cordoba we drove to Nerja, here we spent the next three days. In Nerja is the balcony of Europe, a rock formation from which you have a beautiful view of the sea and the coast. The city is full of tourists, since it is difficult to find a good restaurant. We were not always lucky. At least the breakfast was good. I had Tostata de Tomato and Churros every day. In Nerja there are two interesting places to visit. The river bed of the River Chillar and a dripstone cave. We wanted to walk along the river bed of the River Chillar. As the weather forecast predicted thunderstorms and rain, we preferred to forego the river hike. The danger of being caught by a tidal wave was simply too big. For this we visit the dripstone cave, which also provided a welcome cooling.
