Mozartstadt Salzburg
The Mozart city Salzburg was on my route to the Königssee. A good chance for a stop over here. My hotel, the boutique-hotel Überfuhr, was located directly at the Salzach. With the bike that one could rent in the hotel, one was in the city in 15 minutes. Thus, the best location. The furnishing of the hotel is quite cool (and can be bought) and the attached beer garden with an excellent kitchen contributed the rest to my well-being. The city itself is tidy and beautiful. In spite of the masses of tourists, everyone here is deeply relaxed. The program included a city tour with the swimming bus, a visit to the fortress and a concert in the cathedral. Everything as beautiful as the Weißwurst in the Augustiner-Brauhaus was delicious. In the evening, a grand piano was rolled onto the market square, where music students showed off their skills. One likes to sit there for a while. In addition, there were the many zither players sitting on the street corners entertaining people for a few pennies. And on top of that, the weather played along! Salzburg, I'll visit you again!
Die Mozartstadt Salzburg lag auf meiner Route an den Königssee. Was lag also näher, als hier Station zu machen. Mein Hotel, das Boutique-Hotel Überfuhr, lag direkt an der Salzach. Mit dem Rad, das man im Hotel leihen konnte, war man in 15 Minuten in der Stadt. Beste Lage also. Die Einrichtung des Hotels ist ziemlich cool (und kann gekauft werden) und der angeschlossene Biergarten mit hervorragender Küche trug sein Übriges zu meinem Wohlbefinden bei. Die Stadt selbst ist aufgeräumt und schön. Trotz der Touristenmassen sind hier alle tiefenentspannt. Auf dem Programm standen eine Stadtrundfahrt mit dem schwimmenden Bus, ein Festungsbesuch und ein Konzert im Dom. Alles so schön wie die Weißwurst im Augustiner-Brauhaus lecker war. Abends wurde ein Flügel auf den Marktplatz gerollt, wo Musikstudenten ihr Können zum Besten gaben. Da bleibt man gerne eine Weile sitzen. Dazu die vielen Zitter-Spielerinnen, die an den Straßenecken sitzend für ein paar Groschen die Leute unterhielten. Noch dazu hat das Wetter mitgespielt! Salzburg, Dich besuche ich wieder!
